Get ready to start looting this October in the all new Borderlands adventure, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. You can go and pick up your copy starting on October 14, 2014 in North America and on October 17, 2014 internationally. The Pre-Sequel will be coming to the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360; however won’t be making it on the PS4 and Xbox One. Maybe we’ll see a possible Game of the Year edition come out on those platforms.

In case you didn’t know what Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is about, don’t worry we got you covered. The Pre-Sequel will be a standalone Borderlands game, taking place on Pandora’s moon. The events of The Pre-Sequel happen between the first two Borderlands titles; which explores the origin story of Handsome Jack and his take over the Hyperion corporation. You’ll be helping good old Jack along the way as one of four new-playable vault hunters; Wilhelm, Nisha, Athena, and the loveable Claptrap. As expected the same addicting gameplay and never ending looting will return in The Pre-Sequel. If you’re a Borderlands fan, you’ll want to play the The Pre-Sequel.

Gamers can Pre-order Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and unlock access to bonus content, the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit. “Taking place in an old Dahl facility on Pandora’s moon, players will meet TR4-NU, who once was one of Dahl’s military recruiters until he went crazy. TR4-NU is now hosting the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit and giving awesome loot to those who succeed against the moon’s toughest enemies.” 2K posted on the Borderlands website.
