During their panel at PAX Prime, Gearbox discussed their upcoming plans for DLC in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. With the main game now complete and waiting for certification, Gearbox has had a lot of time to come up with some exciting downloadable content for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Gearbox announced that the season pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will include all of the released DLC for the game including; new characters, missions, level caps, and more. The season pass is valued at $30, while individual DLC will cost $10 a piece; however the season pass will not include the pre-order bonus Shock Drop Slaughter Pit, which will be available to purchase separately at a later date. Gearbox didn’t go into much detail about DLC, but Gearbox President Randy Pitchford hinted at the possibility of having Handsome Jack as a playable character, well his body guard/double that is. Hopefully we’ll get to see him added in the game at some point.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the first two Borderlands games and is being developed by 2K Australia with the help of Gearbox Software. The Pre-Sequel will be a completely standalone experience with its own unique story and characters. The game is scheduled to release October 14 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
