Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Getting a Switch Port

Making its series debut on the Nintendo Switch, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be arriving onto the Switch May 4th. Originally released for the Wii U, the highly acclaimed title was a fan favorite in the popular Donkey Kong Country franchise.

Everything you loved about Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze returns in the Switch version, as well as a brand new mode with an additional playable character named Funky Kong. He will serve as a way to ease in casual players into the game, with his unique surfing ability and more forgiving play-style to beginners.

You can experience the challenging and rewarding gameplay in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Switch this upcoming May 4th. No price point has been revealed yet, but we will keep you updated with any further information.
