Life has seemed to find a way for a Jurassic Park sim to be in the works. Coming from the developers of Planet Coaster, Zoo Tycoon, Elite: Dangerous, and many more titles. Frontier Developments will be working with Universal to bring Jurassic Park to life in Jurassic World Evolution. Based on the hit film franchise, Jurassic World Evolution takes players to the island of Isla Nublar – where you’ll get to manage and build your very own Jurassic Park.
“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer, Jonny Watts.
A teaser trailer for Jurassic World Evolution was released, showing an escaped T-Rex reeking havoc on the park. Closely resembling the films, Jurassic World Evolution has players bioengineering “new dinosaur breeds” and creating their own attractions, with “containment and research facilities”. There will be multiple challenges for players to conquer in the game, with “every choice” leading to a “different path”.
Jurassic World Evolution is scheduled to arrive next Summer on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
