Nintendo Cutting the Price of Animal Crossing, Mario Kart 7, and other hit 3DS Games

Starting April 22, Nintendo will be cutting the prices of some of the best selling games on the 3DS. Nintendo revealed Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will be available for $29.99 each.

Five games are must-haves for anyone who owns a Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS system, and their new price represents an even better value for consumers.

Together these games have sold more than 9 million combined physical and digital units in the United States alone, Nintendo announced in a press release. It will be interesting to see if the Wii U will follow suit and cut prices on some of its games.
