With the latest film adaptation hitting cinemas tomorrow, the amount of marketing for Tomb Raider has been substantial. Today, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics updated the website to reflect a new logo and a timestamp for March 15, 2018 at 1pm Eastern time, to signify the announcment of the upcoming game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It would appear that a quick teaser for the upcoming announcement has made its way into screenings, as a video clip uploaded to YouTube this afternoon has revealed.

Unfortunately, the quality is rather low, so we’re going to have to wait until the official announcement tomorrow to experience the full effect of the content. However, there are some noteworthy sights to be seen from this teaser alone:

  • Lara is once again using a bow.
  • The game looks like it features some sort of jungle environment.
  • It looks like Lara visits some sort of Aztec ruins.
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One simultaneously on September 14, 2018.

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available with the official announcement coming tomorrow.

Update: The official teaser trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been released, the game will arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 14th, 2018.
