Cooperative play is the next focus in Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer road map. The all new horde like mode, Uncharted 4: Survival Mode has recently been revealed by developer Naughty Dog. Due in mid December, the co-op survival mode takes three players across a set of progressively difficult enemies and distinctive objectives to complete. Set through out 50 waves of increasingly difficulty, this Survival Mode will test your skills in Uncharted 4.

This challenging all new game mode can be played either solo, or up to three players. Teamwork and strategy will be vital for players to reach the final wave 50; with multiple objectives and enemies to conquer, victory will be an uphill battle! Survival Mode will have its very own progression system; with new items, challenges, and upgrades to earn as you start ranking up. It’s clear a lot of thought has went into this new co-op mode for Uncharted 4.

We’ve built upon and evolved the core gameplay experience with an entirely new level of depth, challenge, and variety. From new enemy types and powerful new bosses to a dedicated progression system and expansive upgradable arsenal, Survival is all about strategy, camaraderie, and skill.

Uncharted 4’s Survival Mode is one of the many multiplayer DLCs to arrive to the game, with more free content to arrive in the near future. All that’s missing right now is some news of a single-player DLC, perhaps we’ll hear something at PlayStation Experience next week.
