After the sudden cancellation of the Silent Hill collaboration between legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima and veteran Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, the dream project between the duo vanished into thin air. With Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus set to star in the Silent Hill game, the star power among the cancelled title were stunning. You have three awesome people working together on a Silent Hill game, and then out of nowhere the dream gets crushed. But there may be some good news after all. Norman Reedus and Hideo Kojima have recently been reunited together, with Reedus even teasing a logo for Kojimas’ new production company on his Instagram page. Could it possibly be the two are working together on a video game again?

Could it be that the once cancelled Silent Hill game is coming back from the dead? Of course it wouldn’t be called Silent Hill, but instead would be an original new IP from Kojimas’ newly founded company. With both Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro presenting at the D.I.C.E. Summit later this week, it’s pretty obvious the two are cooking up something together. The collaboration between the two is definitely hinted at, and makes us the more excited to see what Kojima will reveal! Silent Hill may be dead in the water, but its foundation could be used to build something better.
