Like so many who’ve played Breath of the Wild since launch, you’ve probably beaten the game by now — and certainly put in some quality time. So at the end you’re left with wanting more, maybe you’ve started A New Game or moved on to another title. Luckily for those that want to keep on playing, Breath of the Wild has an upcoming Expansion Pass. Earlier today, Nintendo has given some details for the first DLC in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Due to arrive this Summer, DLC Pack 1 will add in some new content to the game.

Foremost; the much anticipated Hard Mode will debut with this DLC. As if Breath of the Wild wasn’t challenging enough, Hard Mode will have much more powerful enemies. Their health also regains, so no more running away to recover. You’ll have to be quick in a fight in order to defeat your foes. There will also be enemies and treasure chests to find in the sky, no details yet on exactly how that works.

An all new challenge mode will be introduced with this DLC. “Trial of the Sword” takes you through a wave of enemies, you first begin without any of your equipment or weapons. Survive through the nearly 50 rooms and you’ll get to experience the “true power of the Master Sword”. Completing the “Trial of the Sword” challenge enables the Master Sword to always glow, no news if its unbreakable.

There will be additional armors sets to discover around Hyrule, found inside 8 treasure chests that contain “armor themed after previous The Legend of Zelda titles.” So far its looking like there’s about four different sets to collect, with the Tingle outfit probably being the more unique one of the bunch. The Phantom Armor set looks really cool, modeled after an enemy found in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

An awesome new gameplay mechanic will be included in the DLC, called the Hero’s Path Mode. This is a new feature for the in-game map that shows you where you’ve been the past 200 hours in the game. Hero’s Path Mode uses a time tracker that lets you see where you’ve spent the most time in the game, and areas you haven’t explored yet. This is perfect for those that still have more shrines to discover in the game, and see the places in Hyrule they haven’t been yet. If you want to fast travel to any location, there is a Travel Medallion to be found inside a treasure chest in Breath of the Wild. This special medallion allows players to make any current location in the game as fast travel point, pretty convenient!

If you’ve been meaning to jump back into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or perhaps you haven’t played the game yet. This upcoming DLC seems like a good reason as any to see what all the hype is about, and even better for those looking for some new content.
