About NerdBite

Technology, gaming, science and film - covered properly, without the hype.

What we cover

How we work

We work from primary sources: company announcements, filings, research papers, official documentation and the products themselves. Where we learn of a story from a press release or another publication, we treat it as a lead and go back to the original source before we write.

We do not republish press releases as articles, and we do not rewrite other publications' reporting. Where a claim rests on a document, a benchmark or a dataset, we link to it.

Some of our reporting is produced with the assistance of AI tools. Every story is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. We publish under the name of the publication rather than under individual bylines.

The archive

NerdBite has been publishing since 2013. A number of older articles - reviews and guides, mostly - are kept online for reference at their original addresses. They carry their original publication date and a notice saying they have not been updated.

Dated news that no longer serves any purpose has been retired rather than left to rot.

Corrections

If we have got something wrong, tell us at editor@nerdbite.com. We will correct it, and the article will say that it has been corrected and when. Our editorial standards set out how we handle this.

Contact

Full details, including what to send us, are on our contact page. Press officers should start there.
