Lost Epic: 2D Souls-like Action RPG Invades Heavenly Realms on Nintendo Switch

Lost Epic, the popular 2D Souls-like side-scrolling action RPG, has finally invaded the heavenly realms of Nintendo Switch. This fast-paced game from publisher One or Eight and developer Team EARTH WARS offers a hack-and-slash experience with battles that challenge even the most seasoned gamers.

Players assume the role of the God Slayer, whose mission is to destroy the sacred dwellings of the eternal deities who have tyrannized the inhabitants of Sanctum for far too long. As they navigate the Metroidvania-like 2D world, players will encounter six different worlds, each with its own labyrinth and unique set of wicked minions.

Lost Epic features character art by Namie, who is well-known for Fate/Grand Order, Arknights, and Azur Lane. Players will be able to carve a path through legions of enemies and upgrade their attack power and gear by collecting Anima from the remains of fallen foes. They can also choose from dozens of weapons and magic abilities, as well as an extensive skill tree that allows for numerous playstyles.

One of the game’s most significant features is the Divine Skills, which are beautifully animated and deal massive damage. Players can also encounter the Elite and engage in epic boss battles that yield powerful rewards on the path to redemption. They can craft healing and debuff items to prolong battles against near-invincible foes and even go fishing in heavenly waters for additional sustenance.

Lost Epic is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam for Windows PC for $19.99. The game’s launch on Nintendo Switch features all content introduced since the start of Early Access on Steam for PC, including the 1.01.7 update. Players can experience Sanctum in new gameplay mechanics as an A.N.T.I. Soldier from EARTH’S DAWN and slay gods from a distance using long-range weaponry.

To commemorate the release of Lost Epic on Nintendo Switch, EARTH WARS is offering a special 55% off sale until May 9th, 2023, at 11:59 PM PT. The game’s original soundtrack is also available for purchase on SpotifyiTunes, and the digital artbook and soundtrack are available as part of the Premium Edition on PlayStation and as separate DLC for Steam.

Lost Epic also offers online cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to communicate with a heavenly language using visual-based stamps to overcome language barriers. Players can tackle raid bosses in Sky-Reaching Spire and up the ante with New Game+ to unlock new rewards while basking in the glorious original soundtrack.

Team EARTH WARS, the developer behind Lost Epic, expressed their gratitude to the community, saying, “Our community has been asking that we bring Lost Epic to the Nintendo Switch, and we’re happy to have been able to fulfill their request. We are forever thankful for your support, and we look forward to a fresh group of slayers beginning their own epic journeys. See you in Sanctum!”
